The most fashionable interior styles of 2024

Utworzono: 24-01-2024

Just like last year, we asked Designers about the most fashionable styles, the latest interior trends and forecasts for the current year - 2024. Is there anything that can surprise us?

Pantone Color of the Year 2024: Peach Fuzz

Klaudia Dawidowska @Create Design

After visiting interior design fairs in Milan or Warsaw, there is no sign of any major breakthrough in the interiors in 2024. We still stick to earth colors, beige, off-white, brick and green. Earth colors correspond fantastically with the Pantone color of the year 2024, Peach Fuzz, which clearly refers to these trends.

My predictions for 2024:

  • Ecodesign. It is clear that the development of technology and the increasing awareness of caring for the environment,  will also be visible in our interiors.
  • Lots of intelligent, Smart Home solutions - controlling lights, blinds and other equipment from your smartphone is becoming more and more popular.
  • Design and functionality do not lose their strength.
  • Natural materials: real wood, stone, fabrics, glass and ecological materials, (e.g. recycled)
  • Round shapes and protrusions. Walls in one color decorated with a protrusion, 3D form, painting or bas-relief.
  • Glass and its various forms. Milan, which sets interior design trends, was dominated in beautiful forms of glass lamps - this is a signal that glass in various colors and forms will appear in our interiors.

Japandi style

Marta Jemioł  @Jemioł Concept

In 2024, we will certainly see designers' courage in using colors developing. In furniture, textiles, wall colors and even ceilings. At the same time, I doubt that Japandi's subdued style will leave us anytime soon. And good! The high quality of the materials it draws from and the timelessness of simple visual solutions like in good "Danish design" - it will last for many years without the need for "updating". Can this mean that it is a pro-ecological style? In my opinion - yes. This is a style that will last for years, because there is no point in quickly changing what is qualitative and timeless.

I secretly hope we see more chrome. This is my inner "magpie". I like that chrome appears here and there in... textiles! IWC Home pillows or even Jotex curtains. Some time ago, nails with this effect were all the rage. I would like to see it indoors. Avant-garde? Yes! But sometimes it's nice to go crazy.

Unique furniture and art

Monika Wierzba-Krygiel  @monikawierzbakrygiel

In the coming months, I predict a further triumph of natural materials such as wood, stone and glass.

The designed solutions focus more on the quality of products than whether they are currently trendy.

We will introduce much more fabrics and wallpapers as well as bold accents in the form of unusual, handcrafted furniture and art into our four walls.

Colors are entering living rooms

Magdalena Augustynowicz @luckylife_by_ma

What should I expect in the interiors? The answer is short - colors! Customers are becoming more and more brave and open to vivid colors, and thus "more life" in interiors. Recently, cobalt blue has become very fashionable, and rightly so. The walnut color of the wood has finally received the proper attention. Color 2024 Pantone Peach Fuzz predicts joy.

You can see that our designers agree in their assessment of 2024. Anyone who plans to refresh the decor of their house or apartment this year, should check out this year's interior design trends and be inspired to make changes. Here are the 10 most important interior design trends, you should remember:

  • Ecodesign
  • Natural materials: stone, wood, glass
  • Timeless solutions
  • Piece
  • Japandi style
  • Modern Retro style
  • Pantone Color of the Year 2024: Peach Fuzz
  • Soft lines and round shapes
  • Neutral colors, taken from nature
  • Bold and strong colors

We would like to thank the designers for sharing their knowledge.
