Of course it is! These boards have a coating enriched with silver ions, which, when slowly released, kill and inhibit the growth of bacteria, while also maintaining a food-grade surface .

Anti-bacterial coatings perform their function while being safe for human health. Micro-elements have a scientifically proven antiseptic effect and make it possible for the surface to stay in a hygienic condition for long periods of time.

They are used not only in homes but more and more often in the hotel industry, pharmaceutical industry, and other commercial spaces of daily use.

Matte or gloss?

All of our Acrylux Gloss and Matte collection as well as Kristall and Kristall Satina will soon be available with AntiBac. The anti-bacterial effectiveness of the matte and gloss surfaces has been tested in accordance with ISO 22196 / JIS Z2801 and has been confirmed by an independent, certified testing institute.

AntiBac or ANTI-FINGERPRINT?

Current technology allows us to use both options. A given furniture board can have both AntiBac and Anti-Fingerprint surface properties, thus increasing its functionality.

The mechanical properties and surface resistance of anti-bacterial furniture boards and laminates are identical to those of other Niemann Poland boards. So we no longer have to choose safety or functionality, we can choose a product that has both.
